I just discovered that Hubpages has one great feature that makes creating a list of links very quick.
It's inside the link capsule (modules are called capsules), a small search engine that let's you add links from search results with just one click.
You can search Google, Hubpages and del.icio.us.

Editing the links is 'in page' and can be done while searching/adding the links.
So Hubpages doesn't have a bookmarklet to add pages, like Squidoo or Zimbio, and it shouldn't need one either, but this 'search and add' feature only shows about 10 search results which is a bit short, it would be even better if we could enter del.icio.us user names. (and to be able to sort the lists, or at least an option to automatically sort by alpha.)
We can't add a 'Save to social bookmarks' to each Google search results (apart using Greasemonkey), so why not do it the other way around, put Google inside the social bookmark service? This is exactly what Hubpages does. This 'search and add' could be a great way to inter-social-bookmark import, you can really choose only the bookmarks you want. (Of course, import a specific tag would be nice too.)
To show how easy it is to create a hubpage, here's one I just made now only using search. I've added all the available capsules: RSS Hubpage.
It's also nice to have a few style options, others often don't have any. Hubpages can float blocks the the right and change background color, but it would be even better, specially for a topic pages to be able to completely re-style, like Linkatopia.
It's the user that creates the quality of the content, nevertheless, to compare I've collected the same topic 'Web 2.0' in different places:
Squidoo Web 2.0 Lens, Web2.0 Zimbio portal, Fanpop Web 2.0 spots, Ma.gnolia Web 2.0 group, Searchless Web 2.0 group, Shadows Web 2.0 group, Wink Web 2.0 collection and eConsultant choose Hubpages to make a huge group of web 2.0 lists (using the text capsules, not the link capsules).
